Biography:

Maceo Campbell is in his fifth professional season and first with the ThunderBolts in 2025. He signed with the team on November 18, 2025. He pitched the previous season with Charleston of the Atlantic League, appearing in 14 games. Maceo's pro career began in 2020, when he joined the Boston Red Sox as an undrafted free agent. In three seasons in the Boston organization, he rose as high as Class A Advanced Greenville. In 68 career games, he posted a 6.89 ERA with 126 strikeouts in 96.2 innings.

Campbell went to Longwood University for three years, accruing 16 total appearances (two starts) and finishing his career with no record and a  6.75 ERA. He struck out 27 batters in 22.2 innings. He wis a graduate of Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Maryland.
