Biography:

Dakota Kotowski enters his first season with the ThunderBolts and fourth as a professional in 2025. He signed with the Bolts on November 20, 2024. His career began in 2022, when he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Phillies. Kotowski appeared in 124 games across three seasons with the Phillies, rising as high as Class A Clearwater. He hit .253 overall with an .832 OPS, 29 home runs and 15 stolen bases.

He played four years collegiately for Missouri State University, where he was a freshman All-American in 2019, when he hit .288 with 12 homers. He hit 24 home runs and drove in 52 runs as a senior in 2022 to go along with a .242 batting average. Overall, he played in 164 games as a Bear. He drove in 120 runs and scored 100. Dakota attended Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, Illinois.
