Biography:

Grant Thoroman is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and first as a professional in 2025. He signed as a free agent on June 7, 2025 after completing his senior season at Florida Southern University. In his one year with the Mocs, he hit .376 with nine homers and 71 RBIs. He finished with 46 stolen bases and a 1.062 OPS and was named a Second Team Division II All-American.

Prior to Florida Southern, Grant was a two-year player at Purdue Fort Wayne. He hit .268 there overall, including .310 over 50 games in 2024. That same year, he led the Mastodons in runs (54), stolen bases (14) and walks (30). He also played for two years at Lincoln Land Community College, where he was a First Team All Region selection in 2021, when he hit .369 with 16 steals. He attended North Mac High School in Virden, Illinois.
