Biography:
David Maberry is in his first season with the Windy City ThunderBolts and fifth as a professional in 2025. He signed as a free agent on November 19, 2024. Prior to the Bolts, David played for five other independent teams across four leagues and also appeared in ten games in Mexico. Through his first four seasons, he hit .304 with an .865 OPS in 221 career games. In his best season, 2021, he batted .412 and hit ten home runs in 74 games for the Pioneer League's Ogden Raptors.
Collegiately, David played for two years at Valdosta State University. Over 54 career games for the Blazers, he proffered a .343 batting average and a 1.001 OPS. He played for one year at the University of North Florida and led the team with a .327 batting average and 38 RBIs. His college career began with a two-year stint at Daytona State College, where he hit .379 with 67 RBIs in 80 total games. He attended Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. |
