Biography:
Cameron Phelts in is his first year with the ThunderBolts and fourth as a professional in 2024. He signed with the Bolts as a free agent on November 21, 2023 after playing for two years in the Pioneer League - one with Northern Colorado and one with Ogden. In 171 total games, he hit .308 with 91 stolen bases, including a league-leading 51 in 2022. He led the league in triples both years, with ten in '22 and eight in '23. He began his pro career in the Frontier league, playing 36 games for the Washington Wild Things in 2021.
Phelts hit .309 with a .409 on-base percentage as a senior at Grambling State University and was selected to play in the HBCU All-Star Game. Prior to that, he spent four years at Texas College, where he was a .349 hitter with a .461 on-base percentage and 140 steals over 187 games. He attended Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas. |
