Biography:
2025 is Josh Gibson's first season with the ThunderBolts and first as a professional. He was acquired in a trade with teh Evansville Otters for a player to be named later on June 17, 2025 after appearing in two games with the Otters. In the spring of 2025, he was part of the undefeated 59-0 NAIA national champions at LSU Shreveport. He was a First Team All-American for the Pilots and the RRAC Player of the Year, hitting .439 with 71 RBIs and 53 stolen bases.
During his three-year career at LSU Shreveport, Josh hit .415 with a 1.172 OPS in 160 career games. He stole 92 bases and hit 15 homers with 138 RBIs. He also played for two years at Jefferson College, where he was a .303 hitter with ten home runs and 35 stolen bases. He attended O'Fallon Township High School in O'Fallon, Illinois. |
