Biography:

Bryce Hellgeth is in his second season with the ThunderBolts and second as a pro in 2025. He signed as a free agent on June 17, 2024 and posted a 2.02 ERA over 27 relief appearances for the Bolts. He played for Central Michigan University in the spring of 2024, going 1-4 with a 6.75 ERA as a graduate transfer. He appeared in 22 games (one start) and finished with 28 strikeouts and 14 walks over 33.1 innings.

Hellgeth was a four-year member of the Dayton Flyer baseball team, appearing in 47 games (one start) between 2019 and 2022. In his career, he went 3-0 with an 8.39 ERA, striking out 75 batters in 64.1 innings. His best season came as a junior in 2021, when he won two games and saved two more while posting a 6.62 ERA in a team leading 21 appearances. Bryce attended St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
