Biography:

Jalen Greer is in his second stint with the ThunderBolts after playing 18 games for the team in 2022. This is his fourth season as a pro overall after rejoining Windy City as a free agent on November 17, 2024. Between tenures with the Bolts, he split time between the MLB Draft League and the Australian Baseball League.

Jalen was a fifth round selection by the Oakland A's in the 2019 Amateur Entry Draft. He appeared in 42 games as a rookie in the Arizona League and batted .165 with a .295 on-base percentage. Not including the canceled 2020 season, he played three years with the A's overall, peaking at Double A Midland, where he appeared in one game in 2022. He played in 139 total games and compiled a .184 batting average and .295 on-base percentage with 15 stolen bases and 21 RBIs. Jalen attended St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago, Illinois.
