Biography:
Jalen Evans is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and fourth as a professional in 2025. He signed with the Bolts as a free agent on June 27, 2025. Jalen's pro career began in 2021, when he signed with the Cleburne Railroaders of the American Association. He spent the next three years between Cleburne and Billings of the Pioneer League. In 28 games (21 starts) over those three years, he had a 4-10 record and 6.97 ERA with 87 strikeouts in 111 innings.
He attended Texas Wesleyan University for two years, going 4-3 with a 4.05 ERA in 22 games (13 starts). As a senior in 2021, he had a 3.12 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 49 innings. He also hit .265 over 102 career at bats and had six home runs and 29 RBIs. He also spent one year each at Western Oklahoma State and Alvin Community College. Between the two stops, he went 8-1 with a 7.50 ERA. Jalen went to Warren Mott High School in Warren, Michigan. |
