Biography:
Will Armbruester is in his second season with the ThunderBolts and second as a pro in 2025. He signed as a free agent on February 13, 2024 and was a mainstay in the Bolts' rotation as a rookie, posting a 3.97 ERA over 20 games (19 starts) and 115.2 innings. He came to Windy City after playing one year of college ball for Arizona State University, where he pitched in five gamesin 2023s, posting a 3.86 ERA.
Prior to Arizona State, Will spent three years at the University of New Mexico. With the Lobos, he appeared in 31 total games (three starts) and went 1-2 with an 8.81 ERA and 39 strikeouts over 47 innings. As a junior in 2022, he set career highs in appearances (19), innings (31) and strikeouts (22). He attended Eastside Catholic High School in Sammamish, Washington. |
