Biography:

2025 is Tyler Hill's first season with the Windy City ThunderBolts and sixth as a professional. He signed as a free agent on November 21, 2024. Tyler's pro career began in 2019 as a member of the Empire League's Saranac Lake Surge. Over the ensuing six years, he played for six teams across four independent leagues. In 245 career games entering 2025, he had a .248 batting average with 11 home runs and 102 RBIs.

Prior to his pro career, Hill was a four-year member of the Fairmont State baseball team. He hit .330 as a Falcon with ten home runs and 74 RBIs over 140 games overall. As a junior in 2018, he batted .380 and posted a 1.078 OPS and was named Honorable Mention All-Mountain East. He attended Fairfield Union High School in Lancaster, Ohio.
