Biography:

Luke Williamson enters his first season with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional in 2025. He signed as a free agent on February 14, 2025. Luke's pro career began in 2022 when he appeared in one game for the Florence Y'alls. He pitched 19 times for the New England Knockouts in 2024, compiling a 7.71 ERA over 14 innings.

Williamson played two years at Union University and went a combined 6-8 with a 4.82 ERA in 22 total starts. As a senior in 2022, he struck out 70 batters in 60.2 innings. Prior to his time at Union, he appeared in 16 games (one start) over two years at Gardner-Webb University. With the Runnin' Bulldogs, he went 1-1 with a 7.27 ERA. He also pitched for one year at Sinclair Community College in Ohio and went 7-0 there with a 2.01 ERA in 18 games. He attended Canal Winchester High School in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
