Biography:

Leo Gallegos begins his third professional campaign and first with the ThunderBolts in 2024. He was signed on April 17, 2024 after beginning his career in the Pecos League. In 2023, he hit .333 with a .577 on-base percentage for the Garden City Wind. As a rookie for the Tucson Saguaros in 2022, he batted .328 with 15 homers and 66 RBIs in 53 games.

Leo played his final two college seasons at NAIA Southwestern Christian University and hit a combined .332 over 124 games with 12 home runs, 92 RBIs and almost twice as many walks (102) as strikeouts (53). He also played for two years at Rose State College. As a Raider, he appeared in 92 games, posting a .326 batting average and 1.014 OPS. He hit .380 in 129 at bats as a freshman in 2017. Leo attended Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma.
