Biography:

Trey Romay is a rookie with the ThunderBolts in 2024. He signed on January 22, 2024. Trey played four years at Division III Elmhurst University and was named a Third Team All-American as a senior in 2023, when he hit .403 with ten home runs and 36 RBIs and finished with a .782 slugging percentage.

In his career at Elmhurst, Romay batted .361 with an 1.128 OPS. He was a First Team All-CCIW performer in each of his final three seasons with the Bluejays, and was named conference Player of the Year in his final season. He left Elmhurst ranking third in school history with 24 total home runs. Trey attended Downers Grove North High School in Downers Grove, Illinois.
