Against the new pitcher, Corey Bass singled home a run, keeping the bases loaded for Ransom LaLonde, who promptly cleared them with a three-run double. The Crushers (6-2) scored their first run in the fifth on a Max Casper single but the ThunderBolts quickly answered with a Bass home run.
