After two successful years of Mount Carmel High School's "Do it Stevie's Way" Challenge, Standard Bank Stadium is proud to host the championship day of the 1st annual Steven M. Bajenski Memorial Baseball Tournament. The event will finish with the 7th, 5th, 3rd, & 1st place games in Crestwood on Saturday, May 19th after the tournament's two preliminary dates played at various sites. This event is memory of Caravan infielder Steven Bajenski, who passed away due to complications from surgery in the fall of 2009. The times for the Saturday, May 19th final games are: 7th place at 10 am / 5th place at 1 pm / 3rd place at 4 pm / championship at 7 pm. The participaing schools are Marion Catholic Spartans, Mount Carmel Caravan, New Trier Trevians, Oak Lawn Spartans, Oak Park-River Forest Huskies, Providence Catholic Celtics, St. Laurence Vikings, St. Rita Mustangs.
