The Windy City ThunderBolts, in conjunction with Hair Cuttery and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, are hosting St. Baldrick’s Shave to Save at Standard Bank Stadium on Friday, August 12, 2011. Hair Cuttery barbers will be at the ballpark shaving heads to help find a cure to childhood cancer. The shaving will begin at 6:00 p.m. The ThunderBolts will be taking on the Gateway Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m.
Three ThunderBolt players have volunteered to shave their heads for the cause. Dustin Williams, Greg Johnson, Nick Kuroczko will be going bald for the event along with Director of Food and Beverage, Adam Schwarzentraub.
