Oak Forest native Chris Medina captured the hearts of America during Season 10 of American Idol as he reached the Top 40. On February 25, 2011, Chris released his single, "What are words", which was inspired by his fiancee Juliana. Chris's journey on American Idol was inspired by Juliana, who suffered a brain injury in October of 2009, two months before their wedding. The Windy City ThunderBolts have stepped up to the plate. Juliana, along with her family and friends will be in attendance on Saturday, July 30th for "Juliana Night." The Windy City ThunderBolts will be making a donation on Saturday to Juliana and her family. ThunderBolts fans are encouraged to attend on Saturday to watch some great baseball and help raise money for a great family.
Chris Medina will not be in attendance as he will be in Singapore promoting his music.
