As the ThunderBolts Spring Training rapidly approaches, they get closer to rounding out their roster. The newest signee is Eric Katzman a 6’0” 215 pound left-handed pitcher. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2010.
Throughout his four-year career with the Wolverines he appeared in 62 games and started in 28 of those. Katzman produced a 17-9 record with a 4.45 ERA over his career. While completing 166 innings of work he struck out 134 batters. In his Junior year, he shared the team lead with 7 wins and led the Big Ten in fewest hits allowed. Katzman should be another viable left-handed option for the ThunderBolts pitching staff in 2011.
