The Windy City ThunderBolts have announced the acquisition of Donald Jordat. Jordat is a right-handed pitcher out of Naples, FL. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 38th round in 2004. After high school, Jordat opted to play for Miami-Dade Community College, which is one of the best junior college programs in the country.
After his time at Miami-Dade, Jordat headed to Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, FL. Jordat spent last season playing for Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-Am League. For the Skyhawks, he pitched in 28 games as a reliever. He had a 3-5 record in 42 innings pitched with a 4.89 ERA. Jordat struck out 45 batters, while only walking 25. Donald is a great addition to the ThunderBolts pitching staff according to ThunderBolts Field Manager, Mike Kashirsky.
The Windy City ThunderBolts are a member of the twelve-team Frontier League, the oldest professional independent baseball league in the nation.
