The Windy City ThunderBolts will be partnering with the Chicago Bulls/Sox Training Academy for the 2010 season, a partnership that will include the Academy hosting a table at three ThunderBolt home games this year. The Academy will be tabling on June 9th, 18th and 25th.
The Bulls/Sox Training Academy runs extensive training programs for boys and girls from beginner to professional and features former Major Leaguers as instructors. Mike Huff, who played parts of seven seasons in the Major Leagues, including three with the White Sox, is the current Vice President of Sports in the Academy. He will appear at Standard Bank Stadium on June 25th.
The June 9th and 18th appearances will be attended by Dan Pasqua. Pasqua has been working as a private instructor within the Academy for over two years. He also will be handling the day-to-day operations of the Tinley Park facility. Pasqua spent the last seven seasons of his ten year career with the Chicago White Sox. He led the Sox in home runs in 1988 with 20 and finished his career with 117 homers and 390 RBI.
