Crestwood, IL The Windy City ThunderBolts have three former players that are starting the 2007 season in affiliated baseball. Charlie Lisk is in the San Diego Padres system while Anthony Seratelli and Chris Hayes are in the Kansas City Royals organization.
Lisk finished the 2006 season with Windy City and hit .316 with five doubles, two triples, one home run, and 18 RBI in 26 games. He was signed by the Padres in September following a tryout camp. Lisk is currently with Class A Lake Elsinore in the California League. He has appeared in one game so far this season and went 0-for-3.
Seratelli (pictured) was one of the ThunderBolts top players in 2006. He batted .286 with seven triples, six home runs, 39 RBI, and 28 stolen bases in 76 games. The New Jersey native signed with Kansas City in February and participated in Cactus League spring training. The Royals have assigned him to extended spring training where he will try to earn a spot with one of their farm teams.
Hayes had a stellar year for Windy City in 2005 and was picked up by Kansas City in March 2006. The Northwestern University product spent last season with Class A Burlington in the Midwest League. Hayes went 3-6 with a 2.79 ERA and seven saves in 45 games and struck out 47 batters while walking only 16. Hayes is back with Burlington this season, but has not yet made an appearance for the Bees.
