Crestwood, IL – The Windy City ThunderBolts will put single game tickets on sale on Friday, April 13 for the team’s fourth season of Frontier League baseball. The ThunderBolts play a 48-game home schedule that starts on May 23 and runs through the end of August.
Tickets will go on sale at 9:00am on April 13 and can be purchased at the ThunderBolts box office, over the phone by calling 708-489-2255, or online at ticketmaster.com. A lower deck box seat costs only $8.00. Hawk Ford Field features one of the few upper decks in minor league baseball and an upper deck seat is just $6.00.
Opening Night on Wednesday, May 23 is a 7:05pm contest and will be the first fireworks night of the season. The Rockford RiverHawks will be in town to open the year. The ThunderBolts play their first 20 games against Central Division rivals Rockford, Kalamazoo, and Traverse City.
Saturdays are fireworks nights in 2007 and there are eight on the schedule. There will also be a fireworks show following the July 4 game. Miller Lite Thirsty Thursdays are back with $1.00 draft beer and fountain soda. Sundays are Family Days and will feature discounts for families as well as special activities.
The regular box office hours are 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. The box office will also be open on Saturdays for ticket sales from 10:00am-2:00pm.
Discounted group packages are available for the 2007 season. Pregame picnics on the Miller Lite Party Deck and the new Right Field Party Patio are great options for employee outings and family parties.
