Crestwood, IL - On Friday, August 25th, the Windy City ThunderBolts, in partnership with Wal-Mart of Crestwood, are hosting a silent auction of autographed bats and baseballs to benefit the Childrens Miracle Network.
Throughout Fridays game against the Gateway Grizzlies, fans will have the opportunity to view and place bids on bats signed by former White Sox slugger Ron Kittle, current White Sox hitting coach Greg Walker, members of the 2006 Chicago Bandits and Windy City ThunderBolts batters. All-Star Brian Beuning and the rest of the ThunderBolts pitching staff will sign authentic Frontier League baseballs.
The game starts at 7:05pm with a fantastic fireworks display presented by Wal-Mart to follow at the conclusion of the game.
