The Windy City ThunderBolts are coming back home to Standard Bank Stadium for the Fourth of July weekend with celebrations planned all home stand long! The Bolts will host the Gateway Grizzlies in an important West Division matchup as the 'Bolts and Grizzlies battle for first place. After an off day on Monday, the fun continues in Crestwood as Windy City hosts the Chillicothe Paints in a three-game set.
Friday's Fouth of July game will start at 7:05 against the Grizzlies and it will still be a "Budweiser" Fill 'R Up! Friday. All 12oz. domestic drafts and fountain drinks will be just $1! Also, there will be a spectacular fireworks show following the game to celebrate our nation's anniversary presented by Lumina, Inc.
On Saturday, there will be another chance to see fireworks at Standard Bank Stadium as there will be another post-game show following the 7:05 game agaisnt Gateway also brought to you by Lumina, Inc.
Sunday's 6:05 series finale against the Grizzlies will be another Standard Bank Sunday! All families of three or more will receive $2 off the price of admission of a Lower Level seat with a coupon from Standard Bank. Coupons can be picked up by going into a Standard Bank branch, visiting www.standardbanks.com or cutting out of the Regional Reporter newspaper on Thursdays.
Following Monday's off day, the ThunderBolts will welcome in the Chillicothe Paints to Standard Bank Stadium. Tuesday and Wednesday's game are slated for 7:05 as Windy City continues their run for another Frontier League Championship.
On Thursday, fans can re-live the championship memories of 2007 as the first 1,000 through the gates will receive a 4 inch polyresin collectible Replica Championship Ring sponsored by Cloverleaf Farms Milk & Ice Cream. The 7:05 game will also be a "Bud Light" Thirsty Thursday with all domestic drafts and fountain drinks will be just $1 again!
