Be sure to catch the defending Frontier League Champion Windy City ThunderBolts first home stand of the year next week. The ‘Bolts will return to Standard Bank Stadium for their first contest of the 2008 campaign on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:05 against the Evansville Otters in an exciting and pivotal West Division matchup.
There will be plenty of reasons to come to Standard Bank Stadium on Opening Night: The first 1,000 fans will be given a magnetic schedule of the 2008 season courtesy of National City. Also, before the game the players will be given their Frontier League Championship Rings in a special presentation. The ThunderBolts will also raise their Championship Flag before the contest. Finally, fans will be treated to postgame fireworks.
On Wednesday, May 28th, the home stand continues as Windy City battles the Otters again at 11:00 am for School Day. The first 1,000 fans will be a part of the Lunch Bag Giveaway courtesy of Olive Garden.
Thursday’s series finale against the Otters will start at 7:05 as “Budweiser” brings Thirsty Thursday to Standard Bank Stadium. All drafts and fountain sodas are just $1.

On Saturday, first pitch is set for 7:05 against River City, but get to the ballpark early! Standard Bank Sunday concludes the home stand and the series against River City when the ThunderBolts play the Rascals at 6:05. Fans with a coupon from Standard Bank will receive $2 off the price of regular admission.
