Welcome back ThunderBolts' Fans. COVID and Ticket information for Opening Weeekend at Bolts home Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday

Your Windy City ThunderBolts will take the field for the first time since 2019 as Opening Weekend is here!  The ThunderBolts will be home on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday against rival Joliet Slammers.  Here is the details on Opening Weekend of the 2021 season!
 
Opening Weekend, ThunderBolts vs. Joliet Slammers, May 27, 29, 30
 
Thursday, May 27th at 7:05 pm: Opening Night of the 2021 season.  It is also Bud Light Thirsty Thursday featuring $1.00 Retro Beers (Busch, Colt 45, Genesee Cream Ale, Natural Light, Old Milwaukee) and $2.25 16 oz Bud, Bud Light, Mic Ultra, PBR, and Old Style.  Finally all craft beer are just $3.50.  All kids run the bases after the game!  (Wrestling starts next Thursday home game)
 
Saturday, May 29th at 6:05 pm:  It is our first fireworks show of the year and all kids can run the bases after the game!
 
Sunday, May 30th at 2:05 pm:  It is Family Sunday presented by JULIE, Your Illinois One-Call System.  For just $39, families will receive 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 chips, 4 soda/waters, and 4 hats!  On top of that, after the game all fans are allowed to run the bases, play catch on our field, and get autographs from their favorite ThunderBolts players!
 
Here is what you need to know regarding information related to COVID
 
- We will allow crowds of up to 60% Ozinga Field's capacity which includes our seating bowl and group areas located around the park through June 17th.
 
- Through June 17th individual ticket customers can purchase tickets in pods of 2 through 6.  The pods will have at least one seat of separation on each side.  You may purchase these pods on-line, but you must purchase all the tickets in that pod.  If you are looking for a specific ticket arrangement that is not available on-line please visit the Ozinga Field box office, call us at 708-489-2255, or email us at [email protected].  We should be able to help with your request.
 
- While the State of Illinois is expecting a full reopening with no restrictions on June 11th, we will continue with social distance seating for individual tickets through our June 17th game.  The ThunderBolts anticipate and are preparing for no seating restrictions, and full capacity, beginning on Friday, June 25th.
- Per new CDC guidelines and State of Illinois, fully vaccinated fans (2 weeks following their final shot) are not required to wear face coverings while inside our stadium.  Those guests not fully vaccinated will still be need face coverings while not seated!

The ThunderBolts begin their 2021 Season at home against the Joliet Slammers on Thursday, May 27th at 7:05 pm.  The night will feature pregame ceremonies and beer specials all night long including $1.00 retro beer, $2.25 domestic and $3.50 craft.  Group tickets of all kinds including suites, picnics, and our popular Glenmark #WinCity Party Patio are on-sale now!
