The Windy City ThunderBolts professional baseball team is proud to welcome Medix as a new sponsor for the 2018 season. Medix will be the proud sponsor of Strike Out Cancer!, which will raise money for Wellness House, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide programs and resources for patients and families dealing with cancer. “Medix is incredibly excited to partner with the Windy City Thunderbolts to Strike Out Cancer,” said Andrew Limouris, President and CEO of Medix. “We are fortunate to have a relationship with an organization like the Windy City Thunderbolts who were able to come up with such a great idea that aligns perfectly with Medix’s core purpose of positively impacting lives. Over the last year and a half, Medix has gotten know the values, the vision and the purpose of the Wellness House, and there’s no better organization for us to support to positively impact lives.” As a major component of the sponsorship, Medix will donate $5 for each opposing batter a ThunderBolts’ pitcher strikes out during the 48 home game schedule in 2018. In addition to raising funds, Strike Out Cancer! is designed to increase awareness to Wellness House and the programs it provides to those affected by cancer.
