Help us unleash the force at our first ever Star Wars Night on Saturday, May 28th as the ThunderBolts take on the Joliet Slammers at 6:05 p.m.!
Whether you’re with the Light or Dark Side, all fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters. Fans in costume will be able to participate in a pre-game parade around the field, with one lucky fan being chosen to throw out a ceremonial first pitch! You may even see some of your favorite characters walking around the concourse. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a special giveaway sponsored by Standard Bank and Trust. We will also have a Chewbacca Roar Contest during the game with the winner receiving four free tickets to another game! Make sure you stick around after the game for a special Star Wars themed fireworks show sponsored by Standard Bank and Trust!
The team will also be wearing specially designed Storm Trooper jerseys that will be auctioned during the game with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. Starting bid for the jerseys will be $80.
Pre-game Parade- Line starts at the Home Plate Gate (Near the Beer Garden) at 5:20PM. The Parade will start exactly at 5:30PM!
Chewbacca Roar Contest- Sign up will be at the main gate, near the Left Field Tent when gates open. Sign up will close at first pitch. Three random fans will be picked from the sign up to participate in the Roar Contest during the Top of the Fifth Inning.
