Mother nature has not been kind to the ThunderBolts as only one of the two games that were scheduled Wednesday were finished due to rain. For that reason the ThunderBolts and Normal CornBelters will play a doubleheader Thursday. Here is everything you need do know regarding today's events...
- Because of Wednesday's suspension there will be a doubleheader Thursday. Per Minor League Baseball rules both games will be seven innings long. There will be a 30 minute break in between games. Game one will be starting in the bottom of the 2nd inning and it will start at 5:05 pm. Barring any extra innings we expect the fireworks show to go off between 9:15 pm and 9:45 pm.
- Tickets for Thursday, July 3rd are good for both games of the doubleheader. While groups will be allowed in the park earlier the time food will be served will not change.
- The Thursday, July 3rd game will feature $1.25 draft and $2.25 16oz canned domestic beer at all concession stands. Also after the doubleheader will feature the greatest firework show in the world sponsored by the United States of America! Tonight is not a wrestling night.
- Even though 9 innings were played last night, fans holding tickets to Wednesday, July 2nd game can exchange them for any game during the 2014 season. You must exchange your tickets at the box office either in advance or on the day of the game.
