Record 15-Game Homestand Begins Tuesday

The ThunderBolts begin their longest homestand in franchise history on Tuesday, June 11th @ 7:05 p.m. as the Schaumburg Boomers travel to Crestwood.  Tuesday's game will be the start of a 15-game homestand full of promotions, giveaways, and a pre-game concert.  On Tuesday, Kid's Eat Free.  Any kid's ticket, purchased on Tuesday only will include a voucher for a free hot dog and soda.  

The following night is Palos Baseball Night, with a special 6:05 p.m. first pitch.  Seats are limited!  Fans will be treated to a spectacular post-game fireworks display courtesy of Lumina Inc.  It is also $1.00 hot dogs and soda all game long.  Come early, as Advocate South Suburban Hospital sponsors Wellness Wednesday.  Each Wednesday night home game, hospital staff will be on hand passing out information or providing free consultation on various topics.  

The first series of the homestand concludes on Thursday @ 7:05 p.m.  The first 1,000 fans (21 years of age and older) entering the stadium will receive a pint glass courtesy of CITY Beverage -Markham.  It is also the first Bud Light Thirsty Thursday of the season.  domestic draft beers are $1.25, while domestic bottles are $2.25 all game long.

The defending Frontier League Champion, Southern Illinois Miners visit Standard Bank Stadium for a action packed weekend on Friday, June 14th @ 7:05 p.m..  It is a Budweiser Fill R' Up Friday, offering domestic draft beers are $1.25, while domestic bottles are $2.25 all game long.

The series continues on Saturday @ 6:05 p.m. as the first 1,000 fans will receive Hawaiian Leis courtesy of Standard Bank and Trust.  It is Jimmy Buffett Night at the ballpark including a pre-game concert featuring "South of Disorder".  Stick around after the game for another spectacular post-game fireworks night sponsored by Standard Bank and Trust.

The first part of the homestand concludes on Sunday, June 16th @ 5:05 p.m..  Hoosier Daddy BBQ Sauce, LLC is sponsoring this special Father's Day game.  For a $5.00 donation, father's can take batting practice on the field before the ThunderBolts game.  Space is limited and pre-registration is required by calling 708-489-2255.  ThunderBolts' players will be swinging blue baseball bats that will be auctioned off during the game.  All proceeds will be donated to fund prostate cancer research.  When you are at the ballpark, make sure to try our new Hoosier Daddy Double BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger on a pretzel roll.   

It is also Standard Bank Family Sunday.  Families can purchase 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $40.00.  Come early  for autographs and stick around after the game to play catch in the outfield.  Kid's run the bases after every ThunderBolts home game, except on firework nights.  

Florence, Rockford, and Normal visit Standard Bank Stadium over the next two and half weeks to wrap up this 15-game homestand.  Tickets are still available for all 15 games by calling the ThunderBolts box office at 708-489-2255 or purchasing tickets in person or online at wcthunderbolts.com
