With the first week of Spring Training coming to a close, the Windy City ThunderBolts and Chuck’s Southern Comforts Café in Burbank have announced that they are teaming up once again in 2013. Come out to Chuck’s on Wednesday, May 15th to “Meet the 2013 ThunderBolts” and hang out with Boomer and the rest of the ThunderBolts staff. You will have a chance to meet the players, get autographs, and take pictures with the players, coaches, field manager, and Boomer. The “Meet and Greet” will take place from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Chuck’s is located at 6501 West 79th Street in Burbank, Illinois.

The Windy City ThunderBolts open the season the next day against the Schaumburg Boomers on the road. The ThunderBolts will play their first 10 games on the road before returning home for the opener on Monday, May 27th (Memorial Day) @ 6:05 p.m. against the Frontier Greys. Fans will be delighted with a spectacular post-game fireworks show courtesy of City Beverage Markham. The first 2,000 fans will also receive a 2013 magnetic schedule from Standard Bank and Trust. All active and retired military will receive free admission into the game.
