Ticket Exchange Information for the Tuesday, July 23rd Suspended Game

CRESTWOOD, IL – The ThunderBolts held a 4-2 lead over the Schaumburg Boomers before rain forced a suspension of the game after four innings. The game will be completed as part of a doubleheader on Thursday evening.

The Boomers got off to a hot start, scoring two runs in the top of the first inning before the ThunderBolts responded in the bottom of the frame. Kingston Liniak’s three-run homer highlighted a four-run attack that put the Bolts ahead 4-2.

Starting pitchers John Mikolaicyk and Jackson Hickert both settled in and neither man allowed a run over the next three innings.

The ThunderBolts head to Schaumburg on Wednesday for an 11:00 am affair before returning home to complete the series on Thursday. Thursday’s doubleheader will begin with the conclusion of Tuesday’s game. The second game will be seven innings and begin shortly after the conclusion of the first. Wednesday’s game will feature Michael Barker on the mound for the Bolts against Schaumburg’s Cristian Lopez. The broadcast can be found through wcthunderbolts.com

Here is what you need to know regarding tonight's suspended game...

- All individual game tickets for Tuesday, July 23rd can be exchanged for ANY remaining game during the 2024 season.  If you have hard paper game tickets you must exchange those in-person at the box office either in-advance or on the game you wish to attend.  Those with digital tickets can exchange them in-person at the box office or call us at 708-489-2255 for the exchange.

- Group outing leaders (suites and other parties) will be contacted by their ticket rep for exchange options

- This game vs. Schaumburg will be made-up as part of a doubleheader, Thursday, July 25th.  This suspended game will resume at 4:35 pm at the point of stoppage.  The suspended game will be played to a full 9-innings.  Game two will start 30 minutes after the completion of game one, but no earlier than 6:35 pm.  Game two will be a 7-inning game.  Gates to the ballpark open at 4 pm.  Those with Tuesday's suspended game tickets do NOT have to attend Thursday's game.  Those with Thursday, July 25th game tickets can watch both games.

- Thursday's game promotion is White Castle Wrestling Thursday with beer/seltzer specials including $1.75 retro beer.  Full details can be found HERE.
