ThunderBolts and Crushers SUSPENDED

Play Suspended

CRESTWOOD, IL – The ThunderBolts and Lake Erie Crushers were interrupted by rain in the third inning Thursday night. Play was suspended with the Crushers ahead 2-0. The game will be resumed the week of August 15 when Lake Erie returns to Crestwood.

The game was scoreless after two innings before the Crushers broke through in the top of the third. With two men on base and one out, Jordan Dean singled home both runners to give Lake Erie a 2-0 lead.

Brandon Murray singled and Sean Hurley walked with two outs before the rain picked up and forced a delay. When play resumes, the Crushers will have two outs and men at first and second base in the top of the third inning.
