Jake Fisher plays his fifth season with the ThunderBolts and eighth as a pro in 2021. He rejoined the team as a free agent on April 1, 2021. He began his first stint in Crestwood when he signed on March 4, 2014. During a four-year stretch with the Bolts, he went 29-28 with a 4.08 ERA in 77 games (74 starts). He departed in 2017 as the franchise's all-time leader in strikeouts (412), innings pitched (472.1) and tied for the wins lead with Dustin Williams.
After leaving the ThunderBolts, Jake spent parts of three seasons with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League, where he won 12 games and was named a 2018 all-star. He also has pro experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers, of whom he was a 22nd round selection in the 2013 Amateur Draft. He spent his rookie season playing at the Rookie level in Ogden.
He graduated from Oklahoma University after pitching there for two years, posting a 4-2 record and 2.42 ERA in 30 games (six starts). He also pitched for two years at Connors State College, where he went 10-0 as a freshman. Jake attended Keys High School in Park Hill, Oklahoma.
