Advanced Ticket Sales at the Game
The box office, located down the left field line, is open 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game for advance ticket sales.
Alcoholic Beverage Policies
Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the facility. All guests (including those 21+) must get a wristband by showing their ID at the main gate to purchase alcohol. No guest can purchase a beverage without a wristband. Beer sales are limited to four (4) beers per possession at concession stands. Staff reserves the right to deny entry or beverage service to anyone who appears impaired.
Animals
Ozinga Field welcomes service animals utilized by guests with disabilities. No other animals are allowed entry except during special events.
ATM
There is no ATM on the premises. The box office, ThunderStore, and all concessions accept credit cards.
Autographs
Fans can seek autographs from players up to 25 minutes before game time. Enhanced protective netting at the facility can make autograph seeking difficult. The ThunderBolts players and coaches sign autographs after every Sunday game on the field (weather permitting) as part of Sunday Family Day. Please do not disturb players in the bullpens during the game.

Baby Changing Areas
Baby changing tables are available in all public restrooms at Ozinga Field.
Banners/Signs
The ThunderBolts encourage team pride, but handheld banners may not be carried during play or placed on the field due to sight line restrictions. Signs must not be obscene, commercial, political or cause a disturbance. Poles used to display banners or flags are not permitted.
Batting Practice
Gates to the ballpark usually open 1-hour before game time when batting practice is wrapping up. For reference batting practice times are staggered:

6:35 PM games: ThunderBolts at 4:00 PM, Visitors at 4:45 PM.

6:05 PM games: ThunderBolts at 3:30 PM, Visitors at 4:15 PM.

1:05 PM & 10:35 AM games: There is no on-field batting practice.
Bike Racks
Bike racks are not available at the facility, but our staff can help those arriving to the facility with bikes.
Boomer and Kids Club
The ThunderBolts mascot is Boomer (born May 21, 2004). The official kids club is “Boomer’s Buddies,” which is FREE to enter for children 12 years of age and under.
Bottles/Cans
With the exception of infant needs and one unopened bottled water per guest, beverage containers of any kind are NOT permitted into the facility. This policy is for ThunderBolts games and special events only.
Box Office Hours
In-Season on a Gameday: Open 9 AM Mon-Fri, 10 AM Sat, 12 PM Sun, and closes 30 minutes after the game.
In-Season, Non-Gameday: 9 AM - 5 PM Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 2 PM Sat, Closed Sun.
Off-Season: 9 AM - 5 PM Mon-Fri, Closed Sat & Sun.
Bullpens
The ThunderBolts bullpen is down the left field line in front of Section A. The visiting bullpen is down the right field line in front of Section R. Fans are asked not to bother players in the bullpen during the game.

Camera/Video Equipment
Fans can bring cameras, but video cameras may not be used to reproduce the game. Large camera bags or tripods/supports are not allowed.
Cellular Phones
Phone use is permitted as long as it does not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game.
Check Cashing
Personal checks cannot be cashed at our facility except for group reservation payments.
Child Admittance
Children age 3 and under receive complimentary admission but must sit in an accompanying adult's lap. Children 4 years and older require a regular-price ticket. Promotional giveaways are only for ticketed guests.

Concession Stands and Credit Card Policy
The ballpark has two main concession stands and a Grill (behind home plate) offering a variety of food and snacks. All stands, the box office, and the ThunderStore accept cash & credit cards.

Directions to Ozinga Field
The ballpark is located between the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and I-57.
From I-294: Cicero South exit, Left (East) on Midlothian Turnpike, Right (South) on Kenton Avenue.
From I-57: 147th Street West exit, Right (North) on Pulaski Avenue, Left (West) on Midlothian Turnpike, Left (South) on Kenton Avenue.
Disabled Access and Elevators
The ThunderBolts are committed to accommodating guests with disabilities. Staff is available for assistance. For special assistance plus one companion, an elevator is located behind home plate on the main concourse, accessing the suite, press, and upper deck levels (Sections FF & EE only). There is no elevator service to or from the parking lot level.
Discounted Tickets
Discounts are available on various days, including $2 Tuesdays.

Drinking Fountains
Located near the restrooms behind home plate on the outer concourse.
Dugout Location
The ThunderBolts dugout is on the third base side (Sections D & E). The visitors dugout is on the first base side (Sections M & N). Seats behind the dugouts are net-protected.

The ThunderBolts offer various part-time and seasonal internships.
Event Seating Policy
To ensure all fans receive the full value of their ticket, only persons with a ticket for a particular seat will be able to occupy that seat. Staff will be checking tickets.
Exchanges and Refunds
No refunds or exchanges are given for ThunderBolts individual game tickets. Season ticket holders are eligible for a special ticket exchange program.
Exhibition Games
Fans can watch workouts or home exhibition games during Spring Training for free.

A family bathroom is located behind Section C in the "First Aid" room.
Fan Interference
Our facility maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding fan interference with a ball in play or a player. Violators will be immediately removed and/or arrested.

Field Facts
The natural bluegrass field was replaced in 2015 with a synthetic turf field featuring different rubber/sand mixes for the "green outfield" and "brown infield" areas.
Fireworks Nights / Fireworks Policy
Post-game fireworks are held after each Friday and Saturday home game.
Curfew: No weekday (Sun-Thurs) show can start after 10:45 PM. No weekend (Fri & Sat) show can start after 11:15 PM.
Rain/Curfew Exchange: If a show is canceled due to curfew, fans can exchange their game ticket for a future regular season game of equal or lesser value.
First Aid
A trained and fully stocked First Aid room, with a certified EMT, is located behind Section C on the inner concourse.
Foul Balls
Guests are welcome to keep foul balls hit into the stands. Do not throw balls back onto the field. Any fan interfering with a ball in play or violating the policy is subject to ejection.
Frontier League
The ThunderBolts are part of the Frontier League, which is an official Partner League of Major League Baseball. The league has 18 teams and plays a 96-game schedule (48 home/48 road).

Gates Open
Gates usually open 60 minutes prior to game time, unless otherwise noted.
Gift Shops (ThunderStore)
The official gift shop, the ThunderStore, is located next to the box office down the left field line. It accepts credit cards and shares the box office hours.

Group Tickets

Guest Conduct Policy
The policy prohibits foul/abusive language, disrupting the game, unauthorized persons on the field, and smoking inside the facility. Guests must sit in their ticketed seats.
Game-Day Staff
Staff are available to assist and enforce rules. Guests are asked to treat staff with courtesy and respect.

Host Family
The team asks host families to provide players with private sleeping arrangements in exchange for two free full-season tickets.
Hotels
The team partners with two local hotels: Georgio’s Comfort Inn (Orland Park, housing visitors) and The Baymont Inn (Alsip, housing umpires).

The ThunderBolts offer Fall, Winter, Spring, and season internships in various fields like sales, marketing, and turf management.

Lost and Found / Lost Children
Found articles should be turned into the Box Office. Guests looking for lost items or separated children should go directly to the Box Office.
Lost/Stolen Tickets
All purchased tickets should be treated as cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Minor League Affiliates
The ThunderBolts are members of the Frontier League, which is an official Partner League of Major League Baseball. The ThunderBolts are not affiliated with any specific Major League Baseball organization.
Movement During Play
Guests are asked to restrict movement in seating areas during play. Please wait for a break in the action (between innings/batters) to return to your seats.

Ozinga Field is available for bookings for non-ThunderBolts events.

On-Field Contests
Participants for on-field contests are chosen at random on game day. Arriving earlier increases your chances. There are no pre-sign ups.

Parking and Tailgating
Parking at Ozinga Field, operated by the Village of Crestwood, is free of charge. Tailgating is allowed and encouraged in both lots until game time. Parking lots open two hours prior to game time. Kegs are not permitted.
Press Box
The press box is closed to the public and is for media and personnel only.
Promotional Items
Each eligible fan must present a game day ticket at the turnstile to receive a promotional item. Limit one item per fan.

Radio Broadcasts
Every ThunderBolts game can be heard live on St. Xavier University radio WXAV 88.3-FM.
Rain Cancellation Policy
If a game is officially Postponed, Suspended, or Cancelled (not "official"), your ticket can be exchanged for an individual ticket of equal or lesser value for a future regular season game. If a game reaches "official game" status (4.5 innings played with home team leading or 5.0 innings played with visiting team leading), the ticket is not exchangeable or refundable.
Rain Delays
The Umpire-in-Chief has the sole authority to determine if and when play is interrupted, resumed, or terminated. A minimum delay of 30 minutes must occur before a decision is made.
Re-entry Policy
Re-entry is strictly limited to emergencies only and is at the discretion of the ThunderBolts.
Resale/Scalping
The resale of tickets is strictly prohibited on Ozinga Field property. Purchase tickets only at the Box Office or from an authorized outlet.
Restrooms
Three public men's and women's restrooms are available. Each is handicapped accessible and has a baby changing station.

Safety Policy
Fans are not allowed to enter with hazardous or disruptive items, including boom boxes, inflatable balls, laser pointers, and weapons. Bags will be checked.
Season Tickets and Single-Game Tickets
Full-season tickets, pro-rated tickets, and flex-plans are available. Single-game tickets can be purchased at the box office, by phone, or online.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is NOT allowed inside Ozinga Field per the Smoke-Free Illinois Act. Guests must exit the ballpark to smoke.
Spring Training
Spring Training and home exhibition games are usually held in late April through early May. Workouts and non-ticketed exhibition games are free to watch.
Strollers
Small, umbrella-style strollers are preferred.

Tours are not officially offered, but staff is happy to show you around on non-game days.
Tryouts
The team holds an annual open tryout camp each spring. Check out the website for dates and details.

Telephone and internet orders can be picked up at our box office with the confirmation number or photo ID.
What Can or Can't I Bring into the Ballpark?
NOT Allowed: Backpacks, duffle bags, hard-sided coolers, thermoses, bottles, cans, and alcoholic beverages.
Allowed: Purses, fanny packs, strollers, wheelchairs, and small bags.
