Ozinga Field Facility Rental Information
Ozinga Field is not only home to the Windy City ThunderBolts, it is one of the most used professional ballparks in the country.
Since opening in 1999, Ozinga Field has hosted over one million visitors who have enjoyed events like music festivals as well as professional, amateur, celebrity, community, charity and corporate events.
Our 2,600 seat stadium has been greatly improved in recent years, with renovations including the expansion of our kid's area with a new playground, installation of a brand new video board, and a highly acclaimed synthetic turf surface with perfect drainage & playability.
The fantastic intimacy of our facility, while still holding championship size crowds, puts our facility apart from others.

Baseball and the Playing Field
Entire field including the skinned area, mound, and track is 100% synthetic turf.
Eight foot high outfield fence, 330' down the lines, 375' gaps, & 390' in center.
MLB style boxes are available at 90' and 60'.
Other lengths must be thrown down style bases.
Movable mound at professional 60'-6" length.
Removal for different distances is available.
Dual mounded bullpens located in foul territory down each line.
In-ground, covered, protected dugouts with water fountains & equipment racks.
Professional, eight-tower Musco lighting system.
Outdoor, covered batting cage area on playing field.
Each dugout has connected 25-player clubhouse including full service player facilities (shower/bathrooms), coaches' room, & training room.
4-locker Umpire Clubhouse with shower/bathroom also available.

Baseball Pricing & Requirements
General rental includes access to playing field one hour before game time, dugouts (no clubhouse), set of concourse restrooms, batting cage, and press box (public address, audio connection, and scoreboard).
Pricing varies and is dependent on information such as level of play, length of games, amount of games, and day/time of games.
Additional stadium cleaning fee required for any highly attended events.
Additional fees for moving/removing game mound, use of player facilities, box office, videoboard/message board.
Each team is required to show proof of insurance and add our entities as "additionally insured".
No metal spikes.
Molded & turf shoes are allowed.
No exceptions.
No seeds or gum are allowed anywhere inside our dugouts.
No exceptions.
