Biography:
Nick Mahin enters his first season with the ThunderBolts in 2011 after being acquired in a trade with the Lake Erie Crushers on July 27, 2011. Nick was a 16th round selection of the Chicago White Sox in 2007. He spent two seasons in the White Sox organization, reaching as high as class-A Kannapolis before beginning his independent career in the United League in 2009. Mahin finished his collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton after spending two seasons at Cal State Northridge. In his final season at Fullerton, he hit .294 with ten home runs and 48 RBI in 2007. Nick attended Cypress High School in Cypress, California.
