CRESTWOOD, IL - Mike Gallic has been a dangerous hitter in significant innings against the Windy City ThunderBolts this series. In three different instances Andy Mee was one out away from putting away the game in favor of the ThunderBolts. With one on and two out Brock McAllister forced a walk, Justin McDavid followed with an infield single and Mike Gallic gave the Greys their first lead of the day with a grand slam.
The ThunderBolts were able to strike first in the game as Ryan Soares led off the first inning with a single. Soares came around to score thanks to Louie Templeton’s RBI single. The Bolts had the bases loaded with only one out, but failed to score anymore as they ended the first frame leading 1-0.
